Evidence of early reinforcement to the spine, perhaps as issued (?); wear to the extremities including a few closed tears to out leaves; some loss to the top corner of many leaves, not touching text at all; occasional instances of contemporary marginal annotation.
A wonderful full-page engraved cover of an agricultural scene with allegorical figures in each corner. This almanac was published under two titles from 1788-1833. Brendle and Unger (A15) note that the "majority of the issues contain various domestic recipes, including medical ones for man and beast." Printer's advertisements occupy p. 2. Text in German.
