This reports on the Andrew Jackson's ordering of the execution of six militia men after the Battle of New Orleans. It includes a letter from C. Blythe and ten others to Rev. Sela Paine requesting a full account of the execution of these militia men. Paine was there in an official capacity to attend to the men prior to their execution and his account takes up the bulk of this issue of the New-Hampshire Patriot. Additional material related to this incident that was cast by the Anti-Jackson contingent as weapon against Jackson in his bid for the presidency. This present iteration of Paine's account is uncommon in commerce.
