The 18th century characters are given 21st century job descriptions: chimney swee (temp worker), news hawker (news anchor), rat catcher (fast food worker), washerwoman (forensic officer), farmer (activist), scribbler (blogger), highwayman (fund raiser), criminal in stocks (reality show star), and executioner (tax man). Scottish humor in apt satire. A playful and affordable artist book by a noted book artist.
