An important and beautifully printed annotated bibliography of the books and brochures of John Henry Nash. Originally the bibliography was going to include broadsides, but the quantity was such that they were not included. This copy with the leather bookplate of Alfred Sutro (1869-1945) on the front pastedown. Sutro was an attorney, book collector, member of the Calfornia Historical Society, and notable San Franciscan. A lovely plate with relevant provenance.
