Published posthumously by Buck's widow, who compiled it from his letters and manuscript recollections. An abundance of good content, Buck takes the reader through the organization of Company H eventually of the 13th VA Infantry (The Bommerangs), into which he mustered as a private. Material on Jackson's Valley Campaign, Sharpsburg, Second Manassas, and much more. Extremely rare in commerce, with a single auction record from 2004.
