Spine a trifle toned; light and occasional foxing, but generally, a very well-preserved copy of this, the second book issued by Reverend Charles C. Bubb at his Clerk's Press. This present title is one of the first 3 books which bear the Grace Church Press imprint before he renamed it Clerk's Press in 1909. Cave notes that, "in his earlier work at least he showed a sober interpretation of the Kelmscott style. . . . Unfortunately, Clerk's Press editions were so small—frequently no more than 32 copies—that Bubb's work is much less well known than it deserves to be" (Cave, Roderick.
