As issued, in publisher's morocco-backed marbled-boards with morocco corners and gilt-stamped title label; housed in publisher's slipcase. A beautiful copy of this edition with lengthy introduction by Walters and facsimiles of two 18th century editions including the London 1790 printed for Robert Turner and the edition printed for E. Bently (c. 1792). Quite uncommon and illustrated with 2 color plates and 4 mounted color photographs (one of which is partially pulling away from the leaf, but remains secure). Slipcase with some minor staining to the top edge as well as the faint remnants of a price tag on the side.
