Printed 50 years after his death, this is a finely printed edition of Lowell's anti-slavery anthem. In 1910, the title was used as the title for the official publication of the NAACP, "The Crisis." Among the last of the prolific output of John Henry Nash, one of the 20th century's fine printers. BAL 13476.
