Light wear to the spine ends; a trifle shelfworn; previous owner name on the first blank, otherwise, contents are clean; dust jacket has some minor chipping to the spine ends and there is loss to the "F" in Foote's name at the very top of the spine; it is general edgeworn but presents fairly well despite this; price intact on the front flap. An earlier novel by Foote, who would later go on to write the work by which he is most know, The Civil War: A Narrative.
