12mo. 540 pp., frontises. Third edition. Bound in modern levant with corners and marbled paper over boards; both frontispieces are present. Binding is quite fresh with only a bit of sunning at the spine; contents are clean and largely unfoxed. A lovely copy of an early edition of Irving's pseudonymously written satirical periodical, written with his brother William and friend James Kirke Paulding. Originally appearing in parts in 1807 into January 1808, first edition copies are uncommon. BAL 10229.
