New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1894. Hard Cover. near Very Good binding. Item #6918
Octavo. xviii, , 670, [6 (ads)] pp., frontis, maps, charts, illus. First edition, thus. In publisher's faux leather binding; all maps and charts are present as called for. Light wear to the binding, but largely a solid copy belonging to Douglas Forsyth of the University of Virginia and he wanted to make sure we knew it--his name and fraternity on first blank and then repeated written on the rear free endpaper. Occasionally pencil marginalia throughout, but largely a clean copy of this edition of one of Mill's best known works.
