As reissued, 40 facsimile plates and an illustrated title page with explanatory pamphlet stapled into stiff, printed wrappers, all houses in publisher's clamshell box. Light wear to the box, but overall in exceptional condition. Originally issued in 1858, the reproductions are quite nice and the accompanying booklet with Mordecai's explanations offer a glimpse into antebellum Virginia.
