Octavo. 20, 8 pp. Removed from nonce volume and lacking the frontis. Printed in double columns, with head-pieces at the top of each opening page. This edition of Merchant of Venice appeared towards the end of a long run of successful Shakespearean productions at Drury Lane, in the year after David Garrick had retired as manager of the theater. Light staining/toning to the for and last leaf, else clean; final leaf of "The Devil to Pay" detached with some loss to the inner margin occasionally touching text. ESTC T39238 & T31757.
