A very bright, nearly fine copy with some trivial staining to the top of the textblock; in a lightly scuffed dust jacket with two short closed tears at the top of the front panel--Very Good or better; price intact on the front flap; jacket is now protected and brightened in a mylar cover. A very nice first printing hard cover of Bidart's first book of poetry signed and inscribed vertically on the front free endpaper to literary critic: " To Philip Rahv--- / with great admiration --- / Frank Bidart / July 31, 1973." Bridart is a critically acclaimed poet with awards including the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
