Includes six full page illustrations, one of which is a map of Dutch Gap canal. Other engravings of St. John's Church in Richmond, Libby Prison, an iconic view of the bend in the James River below the city. Preliminary leaves and the final leave are soiled, but the contents are fairly clean. Original issued in 1878, this was updated annually. Despite regular editions, it remains an uncommon piece of Virginiana with many local advertisements. Haynes 3338.
