A fairly nice first edition copy of this handbook for the justices of the peace. Hening was an important legal historian and certainly most recognized for his "The Statutes at Large; Being a Collection of All the Laws of Virginia, from the First Session of the Legislature in the Year 1619," the first codification of Virginia law.
