A well printed facsimile issued by Bessenberg Editions in “a series of facsimile editions of books treating of the history of the settlement and development of the Great Lakes Region of the United States.” Atherton's Narrative is the first in the series. No printing date is given in the colophon, but it is circa 2012. A bright, fresh copy of what Streeter describes as a “wholly believable and well expressed account of the young author's disastrous military campaign, capture and adoption by the Indians, and, most cruel of all, his imprisonment in Canada.” Multiple copies available.
