Sabin and McCorison tentatively posit printing dates of 1813 and 1812 respectively, while Gilman puts it at 1825. William's father, Anthony Haswell was a Boston, then Worcester printer during the Revolution and moved his family to Bennington in 1781 becoming the second printer in Vermont.
