approximately 8” x 6” photograph of Hutson in Pine Street Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. Small blindstamp to the bottom corner of the studio and tipped in with glassine guard to card portfolio; another smaller photograph is laid in. Rev. Hutson was a pastor of Pine Street Baptist Church for 45 years before his retirement in 1917. He saw the congregation through immense growth. When he came to Pine St the congregation was 167; upon his retirement it was almost 2,000. Interesting piece of Richmond Baptist history. Included with the photograph is a photocopy of a lengthy contemporary newspaper article about his contributions and farewell.
