A large accordion-fold binding that in marbled-paper-over-boards folder, attached at the rear pastedown. Only very minor rubbing to the joints and small spot on the front cover of the folder. Nearly fine.
A wonderful production with Moore's beautifully designed letters embossed in blind, one on each page. The texture and shadows playing off the impressed letters in the heavy cold-pressed watercolor paper gives them depth and changes them as you move the book in your hands or your position to the book if it set up and unfolded. A wonderful and fairly early work by one of the most significant American lettering artists.
