Binding is very slightly cocked; little shelf-rubbing to speak of; discoloration to the endpapers, where the jacket was adhered at some point, seemingly with rubber cement; corresponding discoloration on the verso of the jacket flaps; it is likely the adhesive failed as there is no sign of forced removal; contents clean; jacket is fairly crisp, too; price intact on the front flap. The first in a series of 5 Cliff Janeway mysteries.
