Norfolk, VA: Landmark Book and Job Office, 1876. Original Wrappers. near Very Good binding. Item #10930

Octavo. 13, [1] pp. First edition. As issued, stitched in wrappers. Wrappers with minor chipping to the edges; two vertical creases from pamphlet being folded; generally a nice copy of an uncommon re-union pamphlet.

Cameron's was the principal oration and strikes frequent notes that resonate with the Lost Cause. The South had given all that it had and then gave more. Cameron recalls the final days of battle at Appomattox for which Mahone's Brigade was present; the details are scant, but the mythic atmosphere of the oration is abundant. Dornbusch III, 1223; Wright M-78.
