Folios. In Spanish, on paper. Pressure stamp of the Bolivian seal at the top corner of each. Old folds, else very good condition with only minor closed tears and edgewear.

The president of the Bolivian Supreme Court writes concerning the receipt of official decrees (11 March; 1 pp.), the salaries of court employees (6 April; 1 pp.), the court's opinion in the matter of substitute judges in the civil section of the judicial system (9 April; 2 pp.), the court's decision to press criminal charges against a lawyer who had impugned the dignity of the court (10 May; 2 pp.), and the court's opinion regarding the official title of judges in certain criminal cases (12 May; 3 pp.). The Court had just come through a period during which a military ruler had systematically dismantled the courts and undercut their authority and dignity. Olañeta had assumed his presidency only days before the first document in the collection was penned.
