The Laws for the Government of the Massachusetts Militia, as Amended by Chapter 266, Acts of 1867

Boston: Published by the Adjutant-General | printed by Wright & Potter, 1867. Embossed Cloth. near Very Good binding. Item #10553

12mo. 92 pp. First edition. In embossed cloth over flexible covers; title and state seal in gilt on the front cover. Binding a trifle worn with some fraying at the bottom of the spine; small loss to the top corner of the front free endpaper; early and faint dampstaining to the fore-edge margin of the first couple dozen leaves—faint at the title page and quickly diminishing to barely perceptible; early rubber stamp of the Rhode Island Adjutant General's office on the title page, otherwise, clean throughout but for some even toning. Remarkably uncommon for a government publication. Only Harvard reports ownership according to OCLC.
