Broadside. 8-1/2" x 5-1/2." Printed in black on recto within a decorative border. Old folds; one closed tear that touches the text; chipping at the margins; age toning and minor staining; pencil inscription on the verso. An uncommon broadside.

A late 19th century broadside without author or publisher noted. Brown University holds copies of this verse in broadside form (though the dimensions differ from this present issue,) one under this present title and then another titled "Christian Watchmen." They note that it is attributed to Smith, but do so without confidence. Not terribly common.
