Binding a trifle rubbing and soiled; closed tear to a piece at the tail of the spine; two owner names on the front endpapers, one crossed through; contents are generally clean with occasional foxing; some tidelines to the fore-edge margin of the last few leaves. Bishop is most known for his contributions to divorce law. This work comes early in the American Industrial Age when contract law would have been increasingly important in industry. Uncommon in commerce.
