Single bifolium. 6-11/16" x 4-3/16." Printing on the recto of the first leaf only. Addressee in manuscript on the verso of the final. Old horizontal folds. Staining to the rear page, but generally in very good condition.

An attractive invitation on which the 16-man committee is named which includes Gen. G. W. Morgan, Civil War veteran and Ohio congressman; A. Banning Norton who was a Mount Vernon newspaper publisher but would move to Texas in the years after this party and in 1855 take office as a Texas State Representative; and others. Rare piece of mid-19th century ephemera.
